This Manzanos red assembles its parts for balance rather than to showcase a single grape, which is why it tastes complete straight out of the bottle. Consider it the house red for people who would rather drink well every week than impressively once a month.
Medium-bodied and generous, with dark cherry, plum and a touch of sweet spice over supple tannin and a clean, dry finish. Serve slightly cool. It slips easily alongside grilled meats, tapas, pizza, hard cheese and slow-cooked stews.
