Product Description
Rosado has a long history in Rioja, where it was made for the dinner table rather than the terrace, and Marqués de Cáceres keeps that spirit intact. This is a dry, pale, food-friendly pink wine with more substance than the average poolside bottle. The fruit has flesh, and there is enough acidity to keep it interesting past the first glass.
Wild strawberry, watermelon rind and a citrus lift carry through to a crisp, faintly mineral finish. Serve it cold but not ice cold and let it warm slightly in the glass to see the fruit open. It handles grilled shrimp, jamón, tomato salads and spicy takeout with equal ease.
