Product Description
Gianni Masciarelli spent his career arguing that Abruzzo deserved to be taken as seriously as Tuscany, and the estate he built is still the region reference. Montepulciano is the grape that makes his case: dark, firm and savory, with more structure than its price bracket usually allows. This is the bottle to reach for when you want an Italian red with backbone.
Black cherry and plum lead, followed by dried herb, licorice and a dusty tannic grip that cuts through fat. It is built for the table rather than the armchair, so pour it with lamb, sausage, aged pecorino or a long-simmered ragu.
