Product Description
Most Pinot Grigio is made to disappear. This one is not. Maso Canali farms a single estate in Trentino, in the alpine north of Italy, where cool nights and high elevation give the grape the aromatics and acidity it loses in warmer, higher-yielding vineyards further south. The difference is obvious from the first sip.
The 2019 is dry and precise, with white peach, green pear, almond skin and a mineral thread running through a long finish. Serve it well chilled with trout, risotto, prosciutto or a plate of soft cheeses, or simply pour it cold on a warm evening and let it speak for itself.
