Product Description
VS is the youngest official Cognac grade, and a good one should be lively and fruit-forward rather than trying to imitate its older siblings. Meukow gets that balance right at a genuinely accessible price, which is why this bottle turns up so often behind bars that take their brandy drinks seriously. It is a working Cognac in the best sense.
Expect grape and apricot fruit lifted by vanilla, light oak and a touch of baking spice, with a rounded finish and modest heat. It mixes beautifully in a Sidecar, a French Connection or a simple Cognac and ginger, and it is smooth enough to sip over ice.
