Mezcales de Leyenda works state by state with small producers, keeping each expression tied to its own place and traditions rather than blending everything into one house profile. This is mezcal as regional document, not commodity.
Expect a drier, more mineral and herbal character than the sweeter Oaxacan style, with wood smoke, green pepper, citrus peel and a long, earthy finish. Sip it neat in a clay copita at room temperature, in small pours, with a little orange and salt alongside if you like.
