Product Description
There is a reason Pinot Noir commands the loyalty it does. Done with care it manages to be light in body and long in flavor at the same time, which almost no other red grape pulls off. This is a straightforward, unfussy example of the variety, made to be opened and enjoyed rather than analyzed over several hours.
The glass offers cherry, cranberry and a little dried rose, with a savory earthiness underneath and tannins so fine they barely register. Serve it cool, around 60 degrees, in a wide bowl. It works with salmon, roast chicken, duck, mushroom dishes or a plate of sliced ham.
