Product Description
The interesting decision here happens after distillation. Instead of the usual ex-bourbon barrels, Mi Campo rests its reposado in oak that previously held Napa Valley wine, a choice that pulls the spirit toward red fruit and soft spice rather than the familiar vanilla and coconut. It is a genuinely different reposado at an everyday price.
Cooked agave stays front and center, joined by dried cherry, honey, cinnamon and a light, dry oak finish. Sip it neat at room temperature to appreciate the barrel character, or build a margarita where the wine-cask notes give the drink an unexpected depth.
