The mangonada is a Mexican paleteria classic, mango and chamoy and chile-lime salt layered into one cup, and this canned chelada translates it faithfully into beer. Sweet, sour, salty and spicy at once, it is one of the more genuinely interesting things in the cooler.
Ripe mango leads, followed by tamarind-edged tartness, salt and a warm chile finish over the lager base. Serve it extremely cold over ice with a chile-salt rim and a lime wedge. One 24 ounce can fills two glasses, and it is at its best in direct sun.
