Nectar Imperial Rose combines a demi-sec dosage with rose fruit, producing a wine that is frankly sweet, unmistakably pink and entirely unapologetic about either. Purists may prefer the brut; everyone else tends to prefer this. It has done more to bring new drinkers to Champagne than any lecture on terroir.
Lavish red fruit, raspberry and strawberry, with candied orange and a plush, creamy mousse over a long sweet finish. Serve it very cold. Genuinely excellent with dessert, chocolate, chili-spiked dishes or a cheese board.
