White Star is a name with real history behind it, the label under which Moet & Chandon sold its non-vintage Champagne in the United States for generations. For many American drinkers it was the first Champagne they ever tasted, and it remains a piece of the house record, from a producer that has been working in Epernay since 1743.
Expect the classic house signature: green apple and citrus over brioche and toasted almond, with a fine mousse and a clean, elegant finish. Serve it properly cold in a tulip glass. As good as an aperitif as it is with oysters, fried food or a celebration.
