Mionetto has been making Prosecco in the Veneto since 1887 and is one of the houses responsible for the style becoming a global default rather than a regional curiosity. This is dry, bright sparkling wine from the Glera grape, fermented under pressure so the bubbles stay fine and the fruit stays fresh.
Green apple, white peach and a touch of acacia blossom, finishing crisp and clean with a persistent mousse. Serve it very cold in a tulip glass. It is the right wine for an aperitif, for a toast, and for mixing into a spritz or a mimosa without wasting anything precious.
