Product Description
Cabernet Sauvignon is the grape that built the modern fine wine trade, and bottles in this mould show why: structure, dark fruit, and the ability to keep improving in the glass over an hour. This is a serious, carefully made example rather than a supermarket pour, the kind of wine worth planning a steak night around.
Blackcurrant and dark cherry lead, with cedar, graphite and a fine dusting of cocoa from barrel age. The tannins are firm but ripe and the finish is long. Decant for forty five minutes, serve at cool room temperature, and pair with grilled ribeye, braised short ribs or a well aged cheddar.
