Product Description
Rosé has become the default warm-weather wine for good reason: it has the freshness of a white with just enough fruit weight to stand up to actual food. This is an easygoing, inexpensive version of the style, the kind you buy without agonizing over. Keep one in the fridge from spring onward.
Look for strawberry, watermelon and a little citrus pith, dry to just off-dry, with a crisp finish. Serve it thoroughly chilled with salads, grilled shrimp, charcuterie, soft cheeses, or a bowl of chips on a hot afternoon. It also makes a very good spritz with soda water and a slice of orange.
