Ole Smoky started in Gatlinburg as a licensed distillery in Tennessee's moonshine heartland, taking a tradition that ran underground for generations and putting it in a labeled mason jar. The original recipe is the plain one: corn, water, and nothing to hide behind. At 100 proof it is entirely unapologetic.
Clear as water, with sweet corn on the nose, an oily sweetness across the palate and a hot, clean finish. Sip it very cold in small measures, or use it where you would use a white whiskey, cut with lemonade, cider or ginger ale.
