The classic build: red wine leaned toward citrus and stone fruit, sweetened just enough that it wants ice and orange slices rather than a decanter. Oliver Winery has been making wine in Bloomington, Indiana since 1972, and this is the bottle they aim at a crowded patio table.
Expect bright cherry and cranberry, a clear orange note, soft tannins and a rounded, medium-sweet finish. Chill it hard, pour it over a full glass of ice, and add whatever fruit you have. It handles chorizo, paella, grilled vegetables and skewers well, and drinks fine on its own.
