Product Description
The Orphan Barrel project exists to bottle whiskey that got lost: forgotten barrels found at the backs of warehouses, rested far longer than anyone intended. Fable and Folly is a marriage of several such lots, each at least fourteen years old, and the extra time in wood is the entire proposition.
Expect a deep amber pour with dark caramel, dried cherry, toasted oak and a dusty baking-spice note, all of it softened by age into something rounded rather than sharp. Drink it neat, or with a single large cube if you want the oak to open up.
