Product Description
New Zealand's most exported white grape, from the region that made it famous. Oyster Bay draws from Marlborough at the northern tip of the South Island, where cool nights hold on to acidity and a long autumn lets the aromatics build. The consistency from vintage to vintage is a large part of the appeal.
The nose is loud in the best way: gooseberry, lime zest, tropical fruit and fresh-cut herb. The palate is crisp and dry with a saline snap and a clean, lingering close. Pour it very cold with shellfish, sushi, feta, asparagus or fried fish. Reliable enough to buy by the case.
