Product Description
Malbec found its second life on the other side of the Atlantic, and this estate bottling is a plain argument for why. Thick skins, warm sun and cool nights produce a wine that is dark and plush without being heavy-handed. Pampa Estate keeps the winemaking simple and the price honest, which covers most of what an everyday red is asked to do.
Blackberry and dark plum, a dusting of cocoa and cracked black pepper, and tannins soft enough that it drinks happily on its own. A natural with grilled meat, empanadas or Friday pizza, and it pours well for a crowd that is not thinking hard about wine.
