This bottling comes from stock given years in oak, well past the three-year minimum, and it drinks with the weight only sustained barrel time produces. A limited-release feel at a real-bottle price.
Amber-mahogany, with toffee, dried apricot, baking spice and toasted oak wrapped around soft cooked agave. The finish is long, warm and dry. Serve it neat in a snifter, no ice, as an after-dinner spirit. For someone who already drinks aged rum and brandy.
