Product Description
Sherry casks have shaped Scotch for generations, and Patrón borrowed the idea for tequila with more success than the experiment had any right to. Añejo spirit is finished in casks that once held sherry, taking on dried fruit and a nutty depth that plain oak does not supply. Unusual, and immediately easy to appreciate.
Raisin, fig and toasted almond sit over sweet cooked agave, with vanilla, a little cocoa and a long rounded finish. Serve it neat in a snifter after dinner, much as you would a sherried whisky. For the Scotch drinker who has been curious about tequila and wants a way in.
