Product Description
Peroni has been brewing in Italy since 1846, and Nastro Azzurro is the beer that carried the name out of the country: a pale, crisp lager brewed with maize alongside the malt. It belongs to a sidewalk table in summer, unfussy but properly made, and a six-pack of bottles is the most sensible way to keep it within reach in the fridge.
Light straw in the glass under a quick white head, it drinks dry and lightly bitter, with lemon zest, cracker malt and a clean snap at the end. Serve it very cold, straight from the bottle or in a tall glass, with pizza or fried seafood.
