Product Description
Perrier-Jouet has been making Champagne in Epernay since 1811, and the house style has always favored floral delicacy over power. Blason Rose is the rose expression of that idea: a generous proportion of Pinot Noir, part of it vinified as still red wine and folded into the blend. The pale salmon color in the glass is unmistakable, and the bottle carries real weight on a table.
Wild strawberry, raspberry and a hint of brioche give way to a fine, persistent mousse and a dry, elegant close. Serve it well chilled in a white-wine glass rather than a flute, alone as an aperitif or with salmon, berries and soft cheese.
