Three islands, one bottle. Plantation 3 Stars blends unaged and lightly aged rums from Barbados, Trinidad and Jamaica, taking the soft roundness of the first, the clean backbone of the second and a measured dose of Jamaican funk from the third. It was assembled to give bartenders a white rum with actual character, and it has become a default in serious cocktail bars.
Fresh sugarcane, banana, coconut and a lick of pineapple, with more weight and length than a white rum usually carries. It transforms a daiquiri, holds its shape in a mojito, and makes an excellent rum punch.
