Product Description
Plantation ages its rums twice: first in the tropics, where heat works fast, then again in cooler French cellars in casks that previously held Cognac. Original Dark applies that method to a blend of Trinidad and Jamaican rums, giving a dark rum with real depth rather than the caramel-colored sweetness the category is often accused of. A tiki bartender's bottle at a sensible price.
Molasses, toasted coconut, dried banana and baking spice, closing on warm oak. Use it where a dark rum needs to speak up: a Mai Tai, a Dark and Stormy with good ginger beer, or neat over one cube after dinner.
