Product Description
Pyrat is one of the most recognizable bottles in rum: squat amber glass with a medallion on the neck, closer to a Cognac decanter than anything Caribbean. Inside is a blend of aged rums from Guyana, where surviving wooden stills produce a heavier, more perfumed distillate than anywhere else in the region. It makes a striking gift as well as a good pour.
Distinctly orange-forward, with candied citrus peel, vanilla, nutmeg and honeyed oak over a soft, sweet body. Serve it neat in a snifter or over one large cube after dinner. Also very good in a rum Old Fashioned with orange bitters.
