The 2022 continues the house approach: ripe Napa fruit, generous oak and a texture built for pleasure now rather than patience later. For anyone who wants recognizable Napa Cabernet character without reaching for a trophy label, this is a sound pick.
Look for blackberry, cassis and dark cherry layered with vanilla, mocha and toasted spice from time in barrel. Tannins are plush, the finish long and warm. Decant thirty minutes, serve at 62 to 65 degrees, and set it beside a ribeye or braised short ribs.
