Product Description
The Reserve is Quilt at full volume, drawn from the winery's best Napa Valley Cabernet lots and bottled in smaller quantity than the standard release. Everything appealing about the core wine is present here with more concentration and more architecture holding it up. This is the bottle for the dinner that matters, or for a few quiet years in the cellar before you open it.
Dense and darkly fruited: cassis, black plum and blueberry over graphite, cedar and baking spice. The tannins arrive firm and fine-grained, carrying a finish that genuinely holds. Give it an hour in a decanter, serve at 62 to 65 degrees, and pour it with dry-aged steak, lamb or a well-marbled roast.
