Product Description
The Mosel is the steepest, coldest and least probable great wine region in Germany, and Riesling is the grape that justifies all that effort on the slopes. Relax made its name by putting that wine in a cobalt blue bottle and pricing it for everyday drinking rather than for collectors. It has become one of the most recognizable German wines in America for a simple reason: it delivers.
Off-dry rather than sweet, with green apple, white peach and lime zest over a bracing seam of acidity that keeps the finish crisp. Serve cold, near 45 degrees. One of the best bottles in the store for spicy food, and equally good with pork, ham or smoked fish.
