Product Description
Remy Martin places 1738 Accord Royal between its VSOP and its XO, and the gap it fills is a real one: more depth and more oak influence than the everyday bottling without the outlay of an XO. The blend comes entirely from Grande and Petite Champagne, the two crus at the heart of the region. A confident choice for a gift or for a nightcap.
The nose leads with butterscotch and baked fruit. The palate follows with plum, fig, vanilla and roasted nut over a long, warm, faintly toasted finish. Serve neat at room temperature and give it a minute in the glass. It also makes an exceptionally good old fashioned.
