Product Description
Caramel and cooked agave in equal measure, with the round edges that only time in oak provides. Anejo occupies the middle ground of aged tequila, spending between one and three years in barrel, and it is arguably the most versatile tier in the category. Riqueza keeps its version approachable without sanding away the agave character underneath.
Light amber, with vanilla, dried fruit, soft spice and a gently warming finish. Excellent neat in a small glass, and equally good in an aged tequila old fashioned with a dash of bitters and an orange twist. A fine step for the drinker moving on from blanco.
