The Robertson Valley sits inland from Cape Town, in a warm, lime-rich stretch of the Western Cape that has grown grapes for well over a century. Robertson Winery is one of its anchors, and this sweet red is among its most straightforward offerings: modest in alcohol, openly sweet, and made without a trace of pretense.
