Product Description
Grillo is Sicily's own white grape, originally grown for Marsala and now behind some of the most distinctive dry whites in the Mediterranean. Heat and sea air give it body without heaviness. Roccaperciata bottles it in a direct, unoaked style, and it costs considerably less than comparable whites from the Italian mainland.
Citrus and yellow apple with a herbal, almost saline edge and a firm, dry finish. More texture than Pinot Grigio, more restraint than Chardonnay. Serve it cold with grilled fish, seafood pasta, olives, salty cheese, or anything that arrives with lemon on the side.
