Product Description
Rombauer is best known for Chardonnay, but the Napa Valley Cabernet is where the house style translates most convincingly into red. The approach is the same: ripe fruit, generous texture, nothing austere or withholding. It is a Cabernet that satisfies immediately rather than asking you to wait five years for the reward.
Dark and plush, with blackberry, cassis, mocha and a sweet cedar note from oak, carried on broad, supple tannin. Decant for half an hour and serve at cool room temperature. Made for ribeye, short ribs, lamb, or a dinner where the wine is expected to make an impression.
