Product Description
This is the bottle for the dinner where the Chardonnay is meant to be part of the conversation. Rombauer's proprietor selection sits a step above the winery's regular bottling, drawn from favored lots and given more attention in the cellar, and it carries the richness the house is known for with noticeably more definition and length.
Layered and full, with ripe pear, yellow peach, toasted hazelnut and a creamy oak frame that never smothers the fruit. The finish goes on. Serve it cool rather than cold, in a large glass, alongside butter-poached lobster, roast chicken, scallops or a well-aged gruyere.
