Product Description
Zinfandel has been in California soil since the Gold Rush, which makes it about as close to a native grape as the state has. Rombauer treats it with the same generosity it brings to everything else: ripe, warm and unapologetically full, with oak used to round the edges rather than to build structure. Comfort in a bottle.
Jammy blackberry and raspberry with black pepper, sweet spice, a touch of cocoa and a long warming finish. Full-bodied and soft in tannin. Pour it with barbecue, baby back ribs, spiced sausage, chili, or a burger cooked over real charcoal.
