This Extra Anejo is the distillery's senior statement, drawn from stocks given time to trade raw sugarcane bite for something closer to dessert, and it remains one of South America's quietly great values in aged spirits.
Look for butterscotch, roasted coconut, dried fig and a light dusting of cinnamon, all carried on a texture that coats rather than burns. This is an after-dinner pour. Give it a minute in the glass to open, drink it neat, and set it alongside dark chocolate or a good cigar if that is your habit.
