Product Description
The cold Humboldt Current runs up Chile's coastline and keeps the vineyards behind it sharp, which is exactly what Sauvignon Blanc wants. Root 1 works with that maritime influence to make a white with real cut rather than the tropical softness warmer regions tend to produce. It is dry, direct, and fermented in stainless steel so nothing stands between you and the fruit.
Grapefruit, lime zest and fresh-cut herbs dominate, with a saline snap on the finish that keeps calling for another sip. Serve it properly cold. Oysters, goat cheese, ceviche and anything off the grill with lemon squeezed over it are the obvious matches, and it makes a thoroughly good aperitif entirely on its own.
