Muscat is among the oldest cultivated grapes in Europe, grown around the Mediterranean since antiquity and prized then for the same reason it is prized now: it smells like a garden. Rosatello's Moscato is the sweet, low-alcohol, unapologetically fragrant expression of that heritage, made for people who want their wine to taste like fruit and see no reason to apologise for it.

Orange blossom and honeysuckle on the nose, then ripe peach, apricot and a squeeze of citrus that keeps the sweetness from settling. Serve it thoroughly chilled in a small glass. It is excellent with fruit tarts and pound cake, holds its own against sharp blue cheese, and is one of the better wines to set beside genuinely spicy food.
