Product Description
Paolo Saracco is widely considered a reference point for Moscato d'Asti, working vineyards around Castiglione Tinella in Piedmont where the grape reaches its most perfumed expression. Bottled young each year with only a light frizzante sparkle and modest alcohol, it is a wine of immediate pleasure rather than patient cellaring.
The nose is all white peach, elderflower and crushed grape; the palate follows with delicate sweetness cut by fresh acidity and a gentle prickle of bubbles. Serve it thoroughly chilled as an aperitivo, with fruit tarts and panettone, or on its own when a full glass of something stronger feels like too much.
