Product Description
New Orleans gave America its first branded cocktail, and the Sazerac remains the only one with a city's name attached to its rye. This is the whiskey built for it: a straight rye bottled at 90 proof, with a mash bill that leans into spice while staying rounder and more approachable than the barrel-proof ryes crowding the shelf.
Clove, black pepper and cinnamon lead, cut with candied citrus, vanilla and a soft anise note on a warm, medium finish. Ninety proof is the sweet spot, with enough backbone for bitters and absinthe and enough restraint to sip neat. Make the Sazerac it was named for, or a Manhattan that needs no coaxing.
