Product Description
Pinot Noir made in a French idiom and priced for a weeknight is rarer than it sounds. Scarlet of Paris aims squarely at that gap: a light-framed red that behaves the way the grape is supposed to behave, without the freight of a famous appellation on the label or the bill that comes with one.
The profile is red-fruited and gentle, with cherry, raspberry and a faint earthy undertone, soft tannins and enough acidity to keep it lively. Serve it slightly cool, around cellar temperature, and it will handle roast chicken, salmon, mushroom dishes and charcuterie with equal grace. A useful bottle when the table cannot agree on red or white.
