Product Description
American gin has its own tradition, quieter than the London Dry school, and Seagram's Extra Dry is its most widely sold example. The gin spends time in oak before bottling, an unusual move that trades some of juniper's bite for a rounder, gentler profile. Generations of home bars have been built on this bottle.
Juniper and lemon peel open, followed by coriander, angelica and a faintly honeyed finish. It mixes cleanly with tonic, holds its own in a Tom Collins, and makes an unfussy martini. Serve everything as cold as possible, and use fresh citrus rather than a bottled substitute.
