Product Description
The reposado is arguably the bottle that best explains why Siete Leguas has such a devoted following. Rested in American oak for months rather than years, it keeps every bit of the distillery's tahona-crushed, fiber-fermented character and simply adds a layer of warmth. Nothing here has been polished smooth for its own sake.
Cooked agave and white pepper lead, joined by soft vanilla, butterscotch and a green herbal note, finishing dry and long. Serve neat in a copita, or over a single cube if you prefer. It also makes an outstanding tequila old fashioned and a margarita with real backbone.
