Product Description
France produces a great deal more brandy than Cognac alone, and this is the case in point. Blended from eaux-de-vie drawn off French wine and aged in French oak, St-Remy VSOP delivers the polish the VSOP designation implies at a price that leaves room in the budget for the rest of the evening.
The nose offers dried apricot, toasted almond and warm vanilla; the palate follows with honeyed fruit, a whisper of baking spice and a long mellow finish. Sip it neat at room temperature, or let it anchor a Sidecar or a Vieux Carre. A sensible upgrade from well brandy.
