Product Description
One hundred twenty-five point nine proof, uncut and unfiltered. Stagg is barrel-proof Kentucky bourbon released in numbered batches so drinkers can track how each one differs, and batch 23C lands in the range where the whiskey is still muscular without being punishing. Nothing added, nothing taken away, and each batch a one-time thing.
The intensity is the point: dark chocolate, cherry, brown sugar and char up front, then leather, tobacco and a wave of oak spice on a very long finish. Drink it neat if you know what you are doing, or add a few drops of water and watch it bloom. Not for mixing, and not for hurrying.
