Look for dark berry and black cherry jam, thick sweetness, and a warm finish with very little tannin in the way. Serve it chilled, which suits sweet reds far better than room temperature, in a small glass. It is good with chocolate, with a cheese plate, or on its own after a meal. Pour modestly and take your time.
