Product Description
Reposado is the middle path in tequila, and for a lot of drinkers it is the most useful one. A few months resting in oak takes the sharper edges off the agave without burying it under barrel character, so you keep the vegetal, peppery core of the spirit and gain a layer of vanilla and warmth. A versatile bottle to have behind the bar.
Look for cooked agave and citrus peel joined by light caramel, soft oak spice and a clean, gently sweet finish. It is pleasant enough neat in a small glass, and it makes a rounder, mellower margarita than a blanco does. Also excellent in a paloma with grapefruit soda and salt.
