Product Description
Vanilla and honey arrive first, which is the barrel talking, but the cooked agave underneath never gets crowded out — that balance is the entire point of a well-made reposado. Tromba builds this one on the same additive-free blanco, so the house character carries through the oak rather than being replaced by it.
Light gold in the glass, with agave, soft vanilla, honey and a faint cinnamon warmth over a smooth, clean finish. It noticeably elevates a margarita and makes a lovely tequila Old Fashioned. Equally good poured over one large cube with nothing else in the glass.
