Product Description
Teremana was built around a distillery in the Jalisco highlands rather than a rented production line, which is unusual for a brand that arrived as recently as this one did. The agave is roasted slowly in brick ovens and the spirit comes off small copper pots, and the anejo shows the most character of the three expressions. The 750 ml is the natural place to start.
Aging in American oak brings caramel, vanilla and toasted spice over the sweet cooked-agave core, with a soft, lingering finish. Drink it neat in a short glass, or over one large cube if the room is warm. Good with dark chocolate and better with conversation.
